Well, I'm sitting on Jen's bed in her room while she's at work. This has been an awesome trip, to say the least! Whenever the two of us are together, there's always some sort of adventure LOL I took the Hobet test on Wednesday at CTU (Colorado Tech) and passed it. I didn't have to take the accuplacer tests, since I've already taken college algebra and english. Jen said if they gave me all the nursing stuff, then I'll most likely get accepted into the program. On the way to St. Louis, we stopped in Carl Edwards' hometown of Columbia, MO. When we made it to the street he lives down, the racecar trailor was outside of his house. Well.. we drove by and his brother was outside on his phone. To get out of the neighborhood, we turned around down the street, and as we went back by, his brother waved at us. LOL St. Louis was a blast! Got lost in the city.. but not really "lost" LOL Construction sucks big time! The hotel we stayed in wasn't too fancy or anything. It was nice inside, but they could've at least mentioned the 24 hr construction going on on the building going up next to it. The Gateway Arch was a lot of fun.. especially since we got to go up at night, and see alllllll the lights in the city. After we ate dinner, we kind of ended up in Illinois.. and saw a hooker on the street corner. Our dear friend, Darryl, thought we were drunk when we called him freaking out. But.. we weren't drunk! We managed to get back to the hotel.. after almost taking the bridge again LOL Tonight we're going to go eat at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill.. and then we're going to go see Charlotte's Web. |
